Frequently asked questions

What is Epilogd?

A social platform for anime and game fans that helps you find what to watch or play next. Log and rate what you finish, and Epilogd suggests titles in the other medium that share themes with the ones you loved, plus picks from people whose taste matches yours.

Does it cost anything?

No. Epilogd is free (for now), and there are no ads.

Why anime and games together?

Many people love both, and two separate profiles never show your whole taste. Here, what you watched can point you to a game, and what you played can point you to an anime.

Who can see my diary and reviews?

You choose for each diary entry, game log, review and list: public, close friends, or only you. Ratings, likes, and what you’ve watched or played are public, except to people you block.

Where does the information about titles come from?

Anime details come from MyAnimeList (through Jikan), and game details from RAWG.

Can I log rewatches and replays?

Yes. Each watch or play is its own diary entry, with its own date and rating, while your overall rating for the title stays one number.

Can I import my history from another site?

Not yet. You can export everything you’ve logged here, and import that file again, from Your data in settings.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings, then Security and account, then Delete account. Your account and everything in it are deleted immediately, and this can’t be undone.

Is there an app?

Not yet. The site works on phones, tablets and computers in any modern browser.

How do I report a review, comment or member?

Use the Report option on the review, comment, list or profile. Reports are reviewed by the people who run the site.

How can I contact you?

Use the contact form. We read every message and reply by email.
